Here is a picture of the entire Montrose Community Band on stage for yesterday's performance. There were 38 of us there yesterday.












Here's our band director, Toby King. He stepped off the podium to do a sax solo for "Catch Me If You Can". It's a jazz piece and rather difficult. Not my favorite kind of music, but we pulled it off pretty well!











This is my sister-in-law, Vonnie, with her alto sax!!












Along with playing in the band, Vonnie is also a member of a sax group that is made up of others also in the band. They played three pieces during yesterday's concert as well. Here she is playing that music......I love that Dusty caught her daughter, Katie, peering at her through the music stands!!
