Photo Challenge #23 - Make Over

While working on this challenge over the weekend, I came to realize why I don't do much editing. The editing program that came with my digital camera just doesn't do a whole lot! I have my sights set at upgrading my camera in the next year and with that, will do so with an editing program as well. But I did have fun poking around with what I do have and tried some things I hadn't really used before.

Using a picture of our son James standing in a field of wild flowers, that I took this summer while camping, I used some of the edit modes that my digital program offers. I like the effect I got when I used the "fisheye" feature together with the "spotlight" feature. Thanks for stopping by!!

I like it. The flowers look really cool in the edited version. But your right this pic was great and didn't even need editing. But it's nice to see you got into the spirit of things, hahaha.

Hey, this is super! Love this photo, either way! I do ALL of my editing and photo stuff on my computer, never on the camera. I don't even know if my camera does this! Super effect!
There are tons of software programs available to do photo editing without going to super expensive Photoshop or some of the other mega programs. Did I give you the Scrapbooking CD's I had?Without getting into digital scrapping...just edit your photos with simple stuff like cropping, color enhancements, adding text etc. I'm sure you can do it there without incurring any costs at all. It's also possible to get really into it as well...that's how we get lured into digi scrapping!
